Be tactful in trade

One day a clever customer went to a market to buy clothes. He had no money in his pocket. He went to a shop and tried on a pair of jeans. He did not like the jeans. He gave the jeans back to the shopkeeper. Then he tried a T-shirt which had the same price as the jeans. He wore it and came out of the shop. The shopkeeper ran after him and cried, “You did not pay for the T-shirt.” ”But I gave you the jeans in exchange for the T-shirt, didn’t I?” replied the customer. The shopkeeper replied all confused, “Yes, you did not pay for the jeans either.” The customer said “But I did not buy the jeans. I am not that foolish and simpleton as to pay for something which I never bought. Saying so the customer disappeared in the crowd.
