Sachin Tendulkar is the Sun among the stars of Indian cricket. He is one of the topmost cricketer of the world. His incredible ability to score centuries after centuries has stunned the entire world.

Our beloved Sachin Tendulkar took birth on April 24, 1973, in Bombay (Mumbai). Sachin was deeply in love with cricket from his very childhood.

He would observe talented cricketers like Kapil Dev on the T.V. and imitate their gestures and body movements.

He was merely of 15 years, when he hit a triple century for his school team. He was yet to reach the age of 17, when he became the youngest champion of Indian cricket.

He is rightly called the ‘Master Blaster’. All sorts or records in Cricket are in his kitty. Despite many odds and injuries he is Still going very strong to shatter the remaining records. He is a natural genius. He scored maximum runs and centuries (14,000 runs, 39 centuries) in One-day Cricket and the highest centuries (35) in Test Cricket.

Hailed as the next master-blaster following the legacy of the great West Indian Vivian Richards, this man has every shot in the book, and can overcome any attack in the world when in full swing. There is nothing this man cannot do.

In batting, he has reached a stage that others can only dream of. He has destroyed practically every bowling attack in the world.

He has tremendous power in his forearms and can hit the ball out of almost every ground in the world. He plays each of his shots amazingly and has even employed the reverse sweep to good effect. Some of his shots are hit with so much power that the ball flies like a bird andbe is able to make run after runs. On the other handsome of his shots are neatly timed and placed well. His timing can be quite exquisite and it is this blend of timing and raw power which makes him the world’s greatest batsman. Mentally very strong, Tendulkar is best when confronted by a challenge.

While his batting ranks him among the best in the world, he is also a part-time bowler and has played a crucial role as a leg spinner and a medium pace bowler in International Cricket matches. He has more than a hundred wickets in ODIs and 35 in tests, though his bowling averages are above 40.
