Opposite Gender Day
Imagine if one day in a year, you had to live as the opposite gender. Let me think of some of the funny scenarios that could arise in such a situation.
Let’s start with the boys. You get dressed to go out for a movie with friends and on the way to the bus stop you realize you have forgotten to comb and braid your hair: you are not used to long hair after all! By the time you go home and return to the bus stop, the bus is already on its way. Wouldn’t that be a disastrous start to the day?
If you are a girl on the other hand, and say you are getting dressed for a party. Instead of the numerous styles of clothes, shoes, hair and other accessories all you will be able to wear is a tee and trousers. How boring would that be! And can you imagine collecting all those creepy crawlies that boys always dig out from here and there?
According to Chinese philosophy, yin and yang are complementary opposites within a greater whole. Boys and girls are like yin and yang; they can’t live with each other and can’t live without one another.
