Forced Labour is Better Than Idleness
Idleness is a great curse on the mankind. A person who does not have anything to do, waste his time in gossiping and talking ill of others. An idle person is a burden on the society. It is far better to do something out of compulsion than to remain idle.
If a person doesn’t have anything to do, then he can take up a hobby to keep himself occupied. One can start drawing a picture in his spare time and paint. in it to remain busy. If one doesn’t want to do that, then he may go to the kitchen and cook a delightful dish for his family members. His family members would appreciate his loving gesture and become more affectionate towards him. If a man doesn’t have anything else to do, then he may help his wife in her household tasks and take care of children. The unemployed women can take up tuition classes at home and teach embroidery, English conversation, communication skills, manners and etiquettes in their spare time. The old people may open up a creche and chat and laugh with the siblings. The unemployed youth could open up placement offices, matrimonial bureaus and educational institutes.
A person should not remain idle in life. He must do some work to make a career for himself. Forced labour has great rewards in store for the laborious man. It is rightly said that ‘Forced labour is better than Idleness.’
