The Autobiography of a Student
This is the important time of my life, which I have to spend mostly in school. There is a popular saying, ‘As we sow, so shall we reap’. What we saw in school we shall reap in the future. I am well aware of the fact that as a student my entire future depends on the quality of years I spend as a student. Thus, student life acts as the basis of his/ her future. Each year I am making great efforts to make my footing stronger.
It is true that the life of a student is the preparation for the challenges that comes in future. Every student must be aware of his or her duties and responsibilities that are expected by the elders. Since my early school life, I have learnt good manners, good habits, discipline, obedience and etiquette from my teachers and parents. I have never practiced any shortcuts. Concentrating and understanding different subjects well has been my main aim as a student.
The first thing that I have always kept in my mind is the importance of hard work, honesty, loyalty, helpful nature, dedication and respecting my parents, elders and teachers. I care for my time and have always avoided wasting it. I devote maximum time to my studies. As a sensible student, we all should realize the fact that once the time is gone it never returns.
Our elders say that if we wish to control various things in later life, we must first learn to obey others. As a student, I am too small to do many things. Sometimes I fail to understand what is good and bad for me. Thus, I always obey to my parents and teachers. I do my work under their guidance. As a person is known by the company in which he stays, I have always maintained a safe distance from mischievous friends. I select friends with great care and avoid talking to some of my ill-behaved classmates.
During these developing years of my life, I am in constant efforts of acquiring maximum knowledge through observation and reading. I also work hard by doing various exercises to keep my body healthy and strong.
As a student, we must always remember that we are the future of our nation. Most importantly we are amongst the blessed children to be educated. As students’ life is a key stage for successes in future, a strong foundation must be laid for a happy and prosperous life.
