Respected Mother,
Received your letter yesterday. Your letter shows that you are greatly worried about me. Dear mother, there is nothing to worry about. I am quite happy and comfortable in the hostel. In the beginning I was a little upset to part from you. But now I am quite at home here.
The food which we get is good and nourishing. It is well-cooked and delicious also. The hostel warden is very kind and caring. My roommate is my class-fellow. His name is Ajit. He is very gentle boy. He is honest and hardworking. We help each other and solve our problems jointly.
I study regularly. I don’t waste time in idle gossips. The Principal himself takes a round of the hostel twice a week. How is respected papa? I remember all of you very much. I shall come home next Sunday.
