A Little Knowledge is Dangerous
Everybody usually try to put the best image of them forward. Some of them sound or show off that they are very knowledgeable by telling things what they heard from here and there. They actually do not have real or deep knowledge of the subject they talk. For example, once, a famous actress was asked to give her comments on the spread of AIDS during an AIDS awareness campaign which she came to attend. She said that there was nothing to panic about because it is like, common cold and can be cured!! Science is still struggling to find an effective curt for AIDS which is on an increase in the urban population. With her little knowledge and ignorant way she put herself in an embarrassing situation. Of course. the people around too do not expect such comments from an educated and responsible person. So. we must make an effort to understand things properly and get the facts right by reading material, books or talking to experienced people. Any activity, be it cooking, treating a person or repairing a defective switch things should be done after understanding and knowing the topic/ work otherwise one will end up in an awkward situation or put someone in danger. A half- hearted approach to learning too can put us in such situation. A society with people having little knowledge or half baked knowledge is dangerous.
