To gain practical knowledge, you need to live in society
There was an elephant named Somu. All the time he used to live in his shed. The mahout used to feed him in the shed only. Therefore, Somu remained devoid of practical knowledge. One day, the mahout took Somu to a river for drinking water. When Somu saw his own reflection in the water, he mistook it as another elephant and stepped back out of fear. The mahout couldn’t understand why Somu did so. He stepped near the water and saw his own reflection. Somu also saw this. Now he understood that he had seen just his own reflection and nothing else. He drank water without any fear.
