I remember the disgust on our sports teacher’s face after a long jump. We had a gang of girls back then who used to stick around at all times. I remember those that I was close to and the fun we had. We used to love to do some work for the teacher as it meant getting to loiter about the corridor! I remember the Yoga classes and the practice for dramatics for the annual day functions. In class eleven and twelve, I was more mature and less giggly. I loved the ‘practicals’ in Biology especially the dissection. I remember being a teacher on Teacher’s Day and teaching English to students of grades seven and eight. I remember the farewell we got in our final year. I do remember struggling with math and physics as well but I would rather not elaborate.
