My dear Mother
I hope this letter of mine will find you in cheerful spirits and sound health. For the past one week I have received no letter from you. I am, therefore, quite worried. Every time I look forward to receiving your letter. I hope you will write a reply to my letter at the earliest so that I may be at peace with myself.
You will be lark jolly to read that the result of my examination has been declared and I have stood first among all my classmates. Besides this, by your blessings I have achieved distinction marks in two subjects. All my teachers are fully satisfied with my result and they hope that in future I shall get an envious position in life.
There is every element of truth, Mom, when I say that it is all due to your inspiration and blessings. I received a letter from elder brother in Dehradun. He will be reaching you by the end of this very month. I will also come to see you during those days.
With kind regards to you and tender love to Sangeeta. Kindly convey my greetings to uncle and aunt. We are all well here by your grace.
