My dear Inder,
Received your letter. I could not reply to it because I was away from home. In fact I had gone to Simla with my parents. Now you would like to know about my visit to this place.
You know Simla is a famous hill station. It is a tourists’ paradise. The weather here is very pleasant. We went to Simla by train. There are hills on all sides. The train passes through a number of tunnels. It is a very joyful experience.
We reached Simla in the evening. We put up in a hotel. We placed our luggage in a room and went to the Mall. There was a great rush of the people. They looked carefree. We spent three days in the lap of nature. The memories of the visit are still fresh in my mind.
