An Argument at the Amusement Arcade
John rushed into the amusement arcade. He could not wait to play his favourite game ‘Shoot Out. He pushed past a group of boys and dashed to the machine.
John positioned himself in front of the machine. He was about to press the red start button when he felt someone pushing his shoulder. John was very irritated. He turned around to tell the person off. To his shock, he saw a boy twice his size standing with his hands on his hips. His mouth was curled in a snarl.
“Go away!” he growled through gritted teeth.
John was furious. He refused to move. He glared at the boy and shouted back. “I was here first!!” Then, he gave the boy a push and turned back to the game. Before John could start the game, he felt a slap across his face. He was thrown off balance and he stumbled backwards. The gun dropped from his hands.
Just then, a security guard ran towards them. He shouted at the boys and told them to stop fighting. He called their parents. Then, he took them to the office to wait for their parents to arrive. The boys were terrified of what their parents might do.
