Sports Day of My School
We have a sports club in our school. A number of activities are performed by this club. It also organizes a few functions during the year. One of such functions is Sports Day. it is very well planned and celebrated in October every year. On this day, indoor games as well as outdoor games are organized indoor games include carom, chess and badminton. Outdoor games include cricket, foot-ball hockey and volley-ball, although it is called sport day, the games are continued to be played for one week. The finals of all the games are, however, played on sports day. On the same day, prizes are declared and shields awarded. A dignitary like, lieut. Governor or Major is invited as the chief guest. The Prizes are distributed by him. At the conclusion of the function. Light refreshments are served the conclusion of the function, light refreshments are served.
